You must have read books by famous authors as a kid, like Enid Blyton?Well i was reading her biography the other day and i found out that she had a hard time getting self publishing success.

Back in those days before digital media it was hard to get your manuscript as a writer published let alone achieve self publishing success. You had to have a lot of money to start with and also you had to have big connections to the top publishing houses. So people like Enid Blyton, James Hadely Chase to mention a few had it tough achieving self-publishing success in the begining.

In fact those veteran authors did not acheive self publishing success as we know it today. Oh yes they have achieved success using independent publishers to publish there work but they worked hard to get success.

So why is it easier to achieve self publishing success today than it was say twenty or thirty years ago. Do you know why? Have a guess...Ok i will tell you, it's thanks to the digital age!

The digital age has made it easier to achieve self publishing success. Now with the advent of this new age came the computer and the internet. This has opened the doors for self publishing. People can now from the comfort of their homes or the office crank out infomation related products and publish it themselves using various tools and software available today.

The internet has given birth to a host of information publishers, myself included, who have made vast amounts of money and unbelievebly levels of success.

What does self publishing entail? You might ask. Well when a person decides to become a self publisher he/she has to target a niche market first of all. Then he creates a website and an ezine. He then fills his website with content that his niche is interested in. Then he gets people to subscribe to his ezine. When he has built up an impressive list of subscribers he can then publish his own ezine and also from time to time publish ebooks, reports, ecourses, audios and DVDs. He does not need to ask permission to publish his information as long as he has the copyright to the information he can achieve self publishing success from it.

There are many examples of people who have achieved self publishing success. Examples are Matt Furey who built a info publishing empire. There is also Marlon Sanders and Jimmy D Brown to name a few. All these people have made themselves wealthy due to self publishing success and you can do the same.
